Crumbville Times:
Here's a great time wasting activity, that arguably is more interesting then facebook. We have already used Google's street views on their maps to show this or that place in 3D, and we have certainly posted links to Wikipedia / encyclopedia etc. things to educate our minions. But what about places that google can't get street views? That's when its time to call in the Panoramio.. Let's say you just watched Borat and wonder wtf Kazakstan is really like? Go there and find out b--ch!

"The Baiterek Tower symbolizes a fairytale tree of life described in the legends of the Kazakh people. According to the saga, a magic bird called Samruk layed an egg in the branches of this tree. So this monument represents a "tree" with an egg on top (22 metres in size). The height of the construction is 105 meters. At the mark of 97 meters there is an observation deck providing a bird's eye view of the city. The figure of 97 was not chosen at random. It symbolizes the year (1997) of relocating the capital city of Kazakhstan from Almaty to Astana. At the top of the observation tower you will see a plate (Alakan) with the imprint of the right hand of Mr. Nazarbayev, the first President of Kazakhstan, in gold. If you put your own hand on the imprint, music will start to play and you will hear a song, the words of which were written by Mr. Nazarbayev himself. Be sure to make a wish!" -from Googles 3D Map.. A golden hand print of the president eh?
통일탑 = This monument?
I'm just waiting for the Koryo hotel interior pics personally. Speaking of the North Korean mass games, one of my favorite photographers Andreas Gursky apparently took some awesome pics there. If anyone knows where I can look at them please let me know. Point here is simple. You can literally wander around the world, go walk by your exes' house, and take a vacation at work. The IT police at your office wouldn't have thought of a lil' desktop vacation would they? You can learn doing this and not be updated on your 7,000 digi-friends, which is also vital of course. Also besides our news, is Twitfacetumbikiostumblepon that much fun?
Why not visit here while you're at it? A huge salute to Sim n' Joe!
Going back to the Gursky thing.. I do my best impressions of him in my other time wasting activity, namely photography.
First up here's Gursky's Marriot in Times Square picture:
Here's a picture I took (because I had long arms truthfully) of the hotel here. Stupid window glare kind of f'd it up but whatever.
His is better regardless. If anyone reading this is in Paris its well worth a visit to the Centre Pompidou to see Gursky's stuff and many other's pictures. MOMA in NYC has some dope stuff too.
word...
